Dr Oluseyi Odewale holds a PhD in Guidance and Counselling.
She is a national trainer in the Universal Prevention Curriculum for Substance Use (UPC) in Nigeria
She is the Head, of Research and Man Power Development at The Shelter Youth and Community Network where she offers substance abuse counselling and also facilitates trainings in the Core Course and Specialty tracks of the Universal Prevention Curriculum (UPC) of the Colombo Plan Drug Advisory Programme.
She has used her wealth of experience from the UPC to train teachers and school administrators on the creation of a positive classroom and school climate- training teachers to create an inviting and warm classroom atmosphere
Her recent research work was on alcohol use among secondary school students in Lagos state
She is an author, speaker, and life coach with speaking engagements in conferences, seminars, schools and faith-based organizations.
