Liezille Jacobs has a doctorate in the Psychology from Stellenbosch University. She has worked in Public Mental Health in Washington, DC, Wuhan, China, Antwerpen, Belgium and at various science councils in South Africa on substance use disorder related research. Currently Professor Jacobs is the Head of the Department in Psychology at Rhodes University.
