We are delighted to welcome a new member of staff to the ISSUP team in November. Barbara Correa joins us in the brand new role of Coordinator for Spanish and Portuguese speaking National Chapters.
A Psychologist by training with a degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana, Barbara has been working in the field of Drug Demand Reduction since 2015.
Previously she has served as the Head of the International Affairs Department at Centros de Integración Juvenil A.C. (CIJ), the host organisation of ISSUP Mexico.
In recent years, Barbara has participated in various drug demand reduction trainings from congresses, courses and academic events on issues of prevention, treatment, recovery support to the formulation of public policies.
We are really excited to welcome Barbara and we know that her skills and experience will be invaluable in helping ISSUP to develop and extend its work – we wish her all the best on this exciting new role.
