Free Medical and Mental Health Camp was organized by ISSUP Pakistan, Youth Forum Pakistan’s team Sukkur & Youth Forum Pakistan’s Team Karachi and Al-Shakoor Mental Health Clinic (Al-Shakoor Foundation) with the collaboration of Saqib Rose Academy, Mental Health & Education Center, BMDRC, and Al-Shareef Foundation on October 11th at Sukkur-Sindh.
This Mental Health Camp successfully conduct and provide free services including therapy/counseling sessions, awareness lectures, psychological testing to rule out stress, anxiety, depression and self-esteem. Moreover, free medical services were also provided by different medical and mental health professionals. The main objective of this effort was to educate the families of the drug victims to overcome the stress and they have to struggle too to overcome the obstacles which the victims are facing after the treatment.
Day was ended with the determination and dedication to keep working hard for drug use prevention among youth and the betterment of the society as well as to raise awareness for the peace of society. Mr. Shakoor Mahar, Youth Leader, Youth Forum Pakistan’s Sukkur Team and Ms. Sundas Sohail, Youth Leader, Youth Forum Pakistan’s Team Karachi thanked to all professionals Ms. Mishal Ashraf (President, YFP Team Sukkur & Director Al-Shakoor Foundation), Maryam Suleman (S.V President, YFP Sukkur Team and Muhammad Idrees (Director Al-Shakoor Foundation) who voluntarily provided their whole day services and awarded them appreciation certificates.
