A Milestone Achieved - UTC Graduation 2025!

During February, we celebrated the successful completion of the National LEAD Institute’s UTC Introductory Counselling Skills Certification Course in collaboration with ISSUP Bahamas National Chapter.

This graduation, held at Life Community Church in Freeport, Grand Bahama, was more than just a ceremony - it was a testament to commitment, resilience, and the power of transformation. Graduates gained foundational counselling skills, practical experience, and the ability to provide guidance and healing to those facing addiction, mental health struggles and life’s challenges.

Our Guest Speaker, Ms. Antionette M. Brown, delivered a powerful and thought-provoking address on the theme: "Renew. Rebuild. Reshape. Empowering Lives, Transforming Futures in 2025."

Her message challenged us to rise above adversity, embrace healing, and become vessels of transformation in our communities.

Special remarks were also given by:

  • Dr. Rev. Cedric Beckles – Senior Pastor, Life Community Church
  • Mr. Troy E. Clarke I, ICAP Tx II – President & CEO, The National LEAD Institute; Director, ISSUP Bahamas National Chapter
  • Rev. Norris Bain – Deputy Director of Sports & Officer in Charge of the Northern Bahamas, Ministry of Youth, Sports & Culture

The programme was enriched with student reflections, a powerful performance, and heartfelt expressions of gratitude, honouring our graduates' hard work and dedication. Congratulations to every one of you!

A huge thank you to our trainers, Mr. Troy Clarke and Ms. Michelle Lundy, for their dedication and leadership in guiding these students through the course. We also thank Life Community Church, ISSUP Bahamas National Chapter, and all our sponsors who made this training possible.
