This year on November 25-27, the VIII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Psychiatry of the XXI Century: Global Impact on Modern Society and New Practices on the Ground" was held, co-organized by the Institute of Psychiatry of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Due to quarantine restrictions, the event was held online with three studios in the Congress Hotel "Pushcha". More than 900 participants took part in the conference with the support of a number of state institutions, international organizations, educational institutions, scientific institutions, NGOs and in accordance with the Register of Meetings, Congresses, Symposiums and Scientific and Practical Conferences of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. One of the main sessions of the event was the opening on November 26, 2020 of the National Unit ISSUP Ukraine (International Society of Professionals in the Field of Prevention and Use of Psychoactive Substances). 439 participants from Ukraine and 59 countries took part in the ISSUP ukraine. Its opening is one of the brightest events of the conference, which became decisive due to the participation of respected speakers.
