UPC-Managers and Supervisors Course
The Drug Advisory Programme (DAP), with funding support from The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), US Department of State, has developed the online instructor-led version of the Universal Prevention Curriculum for Substance Use – Managers and Supervisors (UPC-M&S). Like the in-person version, this online version of the curriculum series consisting of nine courses aims to provide extensive foundational knowledge to prevention managers and supervisors about the most effective evidence-based prevention interventions and policies that are currently available in the family, school, workplace and community settings.
Participants in the Practitioners series are required to take this course first, so they are ready to focus on the subsequent specialty tracks that address the primary settings where prevention practice takes place in communities. These include the family, school, workplace, and community-wide efforts involving environment-based policy, media, community systems, and monitoring and evaluation. These specialty tracks can be selected after taking the Core Course.
