Drug Policy Evaluation: A Seven-Step Guide to Support the Commissioning and Managing of Evaluations is a new resource from the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA). The document addresses the key issues surrounding evaluation in the drug policy field and is intended for those who manage, rather than undertake, drug policy evaluations. It serves as an introduction and provides a bibliography of further reading. Drug Policy Evaluation is premised on the notion that there is no single correct way to carry out an evaluation. It is therefore designed to assist in choosing the most suitable approach to the given circumstances, with the ultimate goal of maximising the value of any evaluation.
