Among many young Europeans, alcohol and drugs are the preferred means of altering consciousness. These substances are used as part of various social activities either on weekends in bars, nightclubs, or music festivals or on weekdays.
The 5th Australian & New Zealand Addiction Conference will be held at the Sea World Resort Conference Centre, Gold Coast on Monday 13 May – Wednesday 15 May 2019.
This annual conference offers a two-day educational program of speakers and a half day of workshops.
The 13th International Society for the Study of Drug Policy (ISSDP) will be held in Paris, France on 22-24 May 2019.
The scientific committee is accepting abstracts for the event.
Objective: This small-scale 2-day workshop targets researchers interested in unfolding the relationship between science and policy-making in questions of public health and lifestyle regulation (concerning for example alcohol, drugs, and tobacco use; gambling; nutrition)
