The National Chapters global meeting which formed part of the pre-conference activities was a huge success and a key highlight of the ISSUP – Thessaloniki experience. ISSUP National Chapters from around the world met in the Vellidis conference centre building in Thessaloniki to learn, share knowledge and explore opportunities for enhancing national workforce capacity in drug demand reduction.

With support from IDPC - Support Don’t Punish, ISSUP The Gambia celebrated World Drug Day 2024. The theme for World Drug Day 2024 was "The evidence is clear: Invest in prevention". The event focused on harm reduction.
The Executive Director of ISSUP The Gambia chapter, Alasana Drammeh, stated that today's workshop aimed to encourage youth participation, allowing them to actively engage in discussions on these important topics.

Uganda Youth Development Link (UYDEL) is a not for profit organisation which started in 1993. They have a long-standing record of providing holistic rehabilitation services to children and young people aged10-24 years, including those that have been abused and exploited in commercial sex work, trafficking, worst forms of child labor, and sexual, physical, psychological and drug/substance abuse.

ISSUP India Chapter successfully conducted a two-day training program for Master Trainers on the NAVCHETNA Module from June 19th to 21st, 2024, in Kolkata, West Bengal. The program aimed to enhance awareness and education on life skills and drug prevention for school students. About 10 NGOs participated, training over 30 teachers, counselors, social workers, and program managers.
