I am Fatima Abiola Popoola, I work as a Drug Addiction Counselor at the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Nigeria. I believe that treatment should be affordable, available and accessible, I also think that care providers should be involved in quality care that is beneficial to the clients. Taking Note of the client's right and having knowledge of professional codes of ethics are vital to a successful treatment. I love helping people.

Hi Fatima, the UNODC QA framework agrees with you. NDLEA have been involved in the QA work in Nigeria - Ngozi Madubuike and Stella Ngwoke - it may be worth reaching out to them. Kind regards. Annette
Thank you for the introduction, Fatima. I think that what you mentioned about a professional code of ethics is really important. One way that ISSUP members can support each other is by sharing policies and strategies that they use to safeguard client rights and human rights. This can help practitioners in other countries who are developing or updating their own policies. Brian
