Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Professional or Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee with SUDP training completed.

General Summary of Duties : The Substance Use Disorder Professional functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating the clinical skill and experience to assess, plan, develop, coordinate, and provide treatment, rehabilitation, and support services for the people we serve. Provides integrated substance use disorder and mental health treatment for those we serve to include: assessment, collaborative treatment planning, individual, family, and group therapy and perform all duties necessary to comply with relevant Kitsap County Substance Use Disorder Treatment Contracts and all other regulatory agencies.

Consider every idea and responsibility contained herein through the lens of Trauma-Informed Care (TIC), and specifically oriented towards promoting Recovery for the people we serve in our unit, as well as anywhere in KMHS at large. These two guiding principles form an umbrella under which all services provided are contained.

Minimum Qualifications :
EDUCATION: Associates Degree in Psychology, social services, or behavioral health field and completion of SUDP Education.

EXPERIENCE: Experienced (minimum 2 years of job-related experience)

Possess and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle report and reliable, insured transportation.

WA Food Worker Card if working at Pacific Hope & Recovery.

LICENSURE: Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration. Current licensure as a Substance Use Disorder Professional or SUDPt with the ability to obtain SUDP within a year.
