The Health Economics and Decision Science section in the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) are seeking to appoint a Research Associate in Health Economic Modelling. You will work alongside colleagues in the Sheffield Alcohol Research Group (SARG) on applied and methodological research projects relating to alcohol, including the public health impact of no- and low-alcohol drinks.
In addition to developing health economic and decision analytic research on alcohol interventions, you will contribute to the writing of research and consultancy proposals and the dissemination of research findings. You should expect to develop methodological research interests complementary to those within SARG and the wider Health Economics and Decision Science section of ScHARR. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of Masters level teaching, supervision of postgraduate students and the provision of other types of training.
You should have a PhD (or equivalent experience) in a relevant discipline and research experience in health economics and decision modelling. You should also have a strong interest in contemporary public health policy research and a track record of academic publication appropriate to your career stage.
