This year, the World Drug Day endorses the end of prejudice against drug dependents worldwide, and to keep more of our people from falling victim to illicit drugs and trafficking. The Philippine Addiction Specialist Society and ISSUP Philippines stand in solidarity with this theme: To that end, we pledge to strengthen the field of Drug Addiction Prevention in the Philippines. We will provide training and opportunities on prevention to public officials and community leaders, to Filipinos from all walks of life. Together, we will protect our communities and the next generations against the pitfalls of drug abuse.
