Clinical Psychologist/ Drug Demand Reduction Expert

My name is stella Ngozi Ngwoke. I hold a Masters of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology and  Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Psychology, both obtained from University pf Nigeria Nsukka, Nigeria in 1995 and 1988 respectively. i joined the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency in 1995 and have been active in the field of Drug Demand Reduction since then. My career had spanned through working as a drug addiction counsellor in the Agency's rehabilitation centres to training and functioning as a master trainer on Drug Prevention Treatment and Care ,DPTC, Master trainer in TreatNet  Volume A, national trainer on Universal Prevention Curriculum, UPC Core, School Track, Workplace and Media tracks. I have also acquired training on Epidemiology and have  worked extensively on the Nigerian Epidemiology  Network on Drug Use, NENDU and have represented Nigeria in West Africa Epidemiology Network on Drug Use, WENDU and Pan Africa Epidemiology Network on Drug Use ,PAENDU from 2016 to 2022. 

I have worked extensively in the area of drug prevention, treatment and care, training and further education and work with diverse group of key populations including young people, women and community. I am currently taking courses on UTC to properly and further empower me in the delivery of evidence-based care for persons with drug use problems  and subsequent certification in drug addiction treatment and after care delivery.
