  • -The prevalence of cannabis use disorders in people who use medicinal cannabis is estimated at 25% (CI: 18-33%).

  • -People with chronic non-cancer pain, mental health or substance use disorders may have a higher risk of cannabis use disorder.

  • -The study highlights the need to carefully consider the risk of cannabis use disorder when prescribing medicinal cannabis.
