6th Pakistan Youth Congress

6th Pakistan Youth Congress was organized from 17-20 December 2015 at Islamabad, Pakistan. The theme of 6th PYC was “Rehber-e-Tarraqi-o-Kamal” (Leaders of Progress and Excellence). It was 3 days residential congress empowered young individual in social cause. This time, the main aim of 6th PYC was Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) mainly in Drug Prevention, Quality Education, Peace and Conflict Resolution and Disaster Management. Every year, participants of PYC usually number around 300. This year, we have 40% female representation which was higher from the previous years. 6th PYC was attended by young leaders from different areas of Pakistan (Punjab 28%, Sindh 25%, KPK 14%, Baluchistan 12%, Gilgit Baltistan 18% and Azad Kashmir 3%). We have received 23 SMART projects proposals by 6th PYC graduates. Our Young leaders have taken sustainable initiatives to make an impact in their respective areas.
