Community Participation in Drugs Demand Reduction initiative in Liberia
Join us in reducing drug demand through evidence-based advocacy and awareness. Together, we can promote informed choices, prevent substance misuse, and build healthier, drug-free communities for a brighter future.
Today marked a significant milestone at Global Action for Sustainable Development with the successful launch of the Community Participation in Drugs Demand Reduction initiative in Liberia. This program empowered 30 participants from 30 different community-based organizations in the 17th districts in Montserrado County through capacity-building sessions.
As a National Trainer in Substance Use Disorders Prevention and the SAFE/DDR Program Manager at GASD, I had the privilege of sharing insights with these inspiring change-makers on the Topic: Understanding Substance Abuse from an Evidence-based Perspective.
My big thanks and appreciation to the hardworking staff of GASD. To our Executive Director Mr. James Koryor, we appreciate your leadership and farsightedness in this organization. We look forward for the continuation of the training tomorrow.
Bravo to all our partners and participants ☺️ ☺️
