UPC Training of Trainers for Latin America

CICAD, in collaboration with, SENAD and Colombo Plan, coordinated the second of three sessions of the Training of Trainers on the Universal Prevention Curriculum (UPC) for Latin America in Asunción, Paraguay.
During the second session, a total of 13 specialists participated from six countries: Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, and Peru.
A new mechanism was developed and piloted to evaluate their training and knowledge skills during their teach backs. The trainers are currently finalizing the individual evaluations to prepare a final report with the results.
Once trained in the nine courses of the UPC Coordinator Series, participants will disseminate the curriculum throughout the Hemisphere at a national level.
