With Rural Health Care Stretched Thin, More Patients Turn To Telehealth

A recent NPR poll of rural Americans found that nearly a quarter have used some kind of telehealth service within the past few years. Many experts believe telehealth services have the potential to remove many barriers to good health care in rural America but many policies regulating telehealth services are 10 to 15 years behind the technology.
