- Apple says Friday it will ban vaping apps from the App Store and that it removed 181 apps related to vaping.
- The apps are a mix of store apps, games and hardware companion apps that let users regulate things like lighting and heating of vape pens.
- Apple device users who have already downloaded the apps will be able to continue using them, the company said.
- A disease related to vaping called EVALI has now sickened 2,172 people and killed 42 people, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says.
