MIAN AFZAL TRUST HOSPITAL (MATH), GUJRANWALA PAKISTAN REOPENS TREATMENT SERVICES FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN/ADOLESCENCES IN NEW BLOCK
Main Afzal Trust Hospital (MATH), Gujranwala, Pakistan reopens treatment & rehabilitation services for women and children/adolescences in new separate block having 20 beds. This project previously supported by Colombo Plan and INL. This project was stop services for a few months, but now treatment services reopen with the local donors/trustees support. Mr. Sana Ullah Rathore, Director MATH offered all drug demand reduction professionals for referral of clients for treatment. He also said that this new block consists of rehabilitation wards, office block vocational center, Conference and counseling hall and other services. He also explained MATH has also 125 bed facility located in one hector (2.5 Acre) for adult male with unique rehabilitation services which includes vegetable farm, fruit farm, Fish Farm and vocational training Centre.
