The National Chapter of the UAE aims to:
- To raise awareness and encourage membership of ISSUP in the UAE and the Middle East
- To recognize and promote the national community of professionals in substance use prevention, treatment and recovery
- Share knowledge by conducting training sessions to addiction professionals in the region.
- Market through social media and other platforms
- Create a network of addiction professionals in the UAE and the Middle East
- To share findings from research conducted in the UAE in regards to substance use.
