Getting a professional addiction counselor certificate requires a long journey to be recognized. but will all of these be able to accommodate and prove the competence of a counselor. Maldives in the region of south Asia needs a lot attention on the matter. The UTC and UPC training accessibility is significantly urgent due to the reform National Drug Agency in Maldives movement. ISSUP is well aware on the Maldivian Drug Act 2011. The need for compliance would create bridging a lot of gaps.
