Description:

Social isolation measures can aggravate pre-existing situations of inequality, barriers to access and deficits in the quality of services. But they can also be an opportunity to deepen reform measures in mental health services and addictions that can effectively address the challenges of pandemic and post-pandemic disease.

Martin de Lellis

Graduated in Psychology and Magister scientiarium in Public Administration from the University of Buenos Aires.
Specialist in planning and management of social policies of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires. Diploma in social sciences Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO)

Among other teaching positions, he is a Regular Professor for opposition competition and training of the Chair of Public Health and Mental Health of the University of Buenos Aires. Faculty of Psychology, since 2005.

Between 2009 and 2015, he was a counselor of the Directorate of Mental Health and Dependence of the Argentine Ministry of Health.
He worked between 2015 and 2019, at the Secretariat of Comprehensive Policies on Drugs of the Argentine Nation (SEDRONAR), where he was Coordinator of the Area of Strategies for Treatment and Social Reintegration and was appointed representative of SEDRONAR to COPOLAD to participate in the project of Quality Criteria and Tests; and was a representative of the Interministerial Commission on Mental Health Policies and Addictions.
He is currently an advisor to the Ombudsman's Office of the City of Buenos Aires.

He is the author of numerous articles and books on Mental Health and Public Policies
