Welcome to ISSUP Tanzania
The ISSUP National Chapter in Tanzania is hosted by the Drug Control and Enforcement Authority (DCEA) under the Division of Prevention, Treatment, Rehabilitation and Research.
DCEA is the central government entity under Prime Minister’s Office commissioned to define, promote, coordinate and implement all measures geared towards addressing and countering the drug problem in Tanzania through the Drug Control and Enforcement Act of the United Republic of Tanzania. Also, the Authority is responsible in enhancement of cooperation in addressing drug problem at national and international levels.
ISSUP Tanzania has the benefit of enjoying a multitude of collaborations with other relevant stakeholders in the field of drug addiction at national and international levels while carrying out its functions relating to drug prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and research programs.
